Garrisons & Spawning
Spawn & Hold System
Garrisons and spawning in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam — how forward positions let your team reinforce the fight. The backbone of holding and taking ground at 50v50 scale.
Where you can spawn, you can fight.
In the Hell Let Loose model, where your team can spawn decides where it can fight. Forward positions — garrisons and outposts — let a team reinforce contested ground instead of running from the back of the map, and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is expected to carry that backbone system forward.
Why spawns are strategic
A well-placed forward spawn turns a fragile push into a sustained one: your squad keeps arriving at the fight rather than trickling in one at a time. Conversely, finding and destroying the enemy’s forward positions can collapse their presence on a point far faster than killing the players on it.
That ties spawning directly to supply and command: forward positions cost resources and need protecting, and deciding where to plant — or attack — them is a leadership call. In Vietnam, helicopters and tunnels add new ways to reach and threaten these positions.
The exact garrison and spawn mechanics for Vietnam haven’t been fully detailed, so this entry is expected until launch confirms the specifics.
