M60 Machine Gun
US General-Purpose MG
The M60 in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam — the US belt-fed machine gun that anchors a squad's firepower. How to position it, suppress with it, and support the push.
The gun the squad fights around.
The M60 is the United States’ belt-fed general-purpose machine gun and the firepower anchor of an American squad in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Its job is suppression: pinning the enemy in place so riflemen can manoeuvre, and shutting down the open approaches the US so often has to cross or defend.
It pays to fight the M60 deliberately. Deploy on a bipod, choose a position with clear fields of fire, and let squadmates spot and flank while you keep the enemy’s heads down. On defence — holding a firebase or a village edge — a well-sited M60 is brutal.
Stats and the exact gunner roles are expected until release. For how support weapons fit the team, see roles & classes.
