Not every US move is by helicopter. Armed transports and gun-trucks give the Americans mobility and mounted firepower along the roads — a ground complement to the Huey for moving troops, hauling supply, and adding machine-gun support where a chopper is too exposed to loiter.
On maps with usable road networks they’re a fast way to reinforce a line or run resupply between garrisons. Their weakness is the same as any wheeled vehicle in this war: ambush. Off the obvious routes they’re soft targets for RPGs, so movement and escorts matter.
The precise transport line-up is still being detailed, so this entry is expected until launch.
